Scope

The African Legal Traditions Registry is peer-review quarterly publication dedicated to register and disseminate of African legal heritage, traditions, and practices of different communities. We welcome original non-solicited contributions that describe any current or historical legal tradition of any part of Africa.

Text written by members of indigenous communities are especially welcomed. We also recommend coauthored manuscripts in which one coauthor has a background related to human rights or law, as a student, researcher or scholar.
